Her debut album Relief 72 hours was produced by Tetsuji Hayashi and is one of the most highly acclaimed city pop albums. The album has a strong black contemporary feel throughout, and includes funk tunes such as 'Snob na Yoru e,' 'Tobishite Taxi Man,' and 'Kaiten Tobira,' city pop tunes such as 'Koi no Yokogao' and 'Just a Joke,' and the famous ballad 'Love Song,' which is a match for 'IN YOUR EYES' from her second album STEPS.
